Week summary by Ed.

Hi all! Today I've used a module on Chris' Google homepage to write my blog before I post it.
Anyway, this week's been a bit of a hotch-potch. Oh yeah and sorry we haven't blogged in a while. I'd say we were busy but that would be lying. The truth is we just forgot!

The night before I wrote this, Chris went to a barbecue at a local marina. As far as I know, it didn't go very well. One or two of the burgers went to mush because the grill wasn't hot enough.

Anyway, Chris has also been to church this morning. He tells me that at the end they get free chocolate biscuits. This is unfair on so many levels.
So, blog again soon,
Edward.

A Trifle Delicious

Yep, it's Sarge today, reviewing

A Trifle Delicious

Odd name, I know. But the trifles really were quite delicious!

And the restaurant was not as posh at the Chez Jean-Pierre. It had a more familiar atmosphere.

Good dishes

Definitely try the trifle.

Also try the yorkshire pudding. And the burgers. And the chicken (I especially liked the Chicken 'n' Chips Surprise).

In fact,, try everything on the menu except...

Dishes to avoid

The MINGING cabbage and cauliflower vegeburger. UGH!

OK, that's about it now. Cya later,

Sarge

First email blog

Uh, hi! This is Koala here.

Right, now for the webscape. I have found this rather entertaining site called FluxTime where you can animate your own, er, animations and send them to a friend. For all the privileges you have to sign up which costs £12. But it is still very good.

You animate by moving things around the screen while recording. You can stretch them, rotate them, resize them and more.

Anyway, cya later,

Koala

La Chez Jean-Pierre

I think that's what it is in French...anyway, hi, it's Sarge, resident food critic. Today I review the famous French restaurant just near Warmley, the Chez Jean-Pierre.

Chez Jean-Pierre
I was welcomed into the restaurant. The person by the door looked a little nervous. Well, I am a food critic and the whole future of this restaurant depended on this review. Anyway, I sat down at my specially reserved table (table 5) and the waiter gave me the specials. Along with the starters, the desserts, the drinks, the main courses, the second courses, the third courses (carry on to elevenses here).
I decided to try the lot.
Favourites
As you know, my all-time favourite dish is sausages and mash. So when the waiter read out the (entire) menu to me, I was anxious to see whether my beloved bangers and my marvellous mash were there. They were! Naturally, they were the first dish I sampled. It was delicious! Wel, bangers and mash always are. My next favourite was the scrumptious icecream (a dessert it may be). I recommend the delicious strawberry icecream.
Dishes and other stuff to avoid
I didn't particularly like the spaghetti bolognese (albeit I never have). And also avoid the cocktail Lemony Fresh (it tastes of that stuff you find in plastic lemons). And if a waiter even mentions the Broccoli Surprise, run a mile. The stuff is revolting.

OK, that's about it. I'd give you the address of the Chez Jean-Pierre but I can't remember it.
See you soon,

Sarge

Hi all! It's Bob here. Sorry we've been so long posting. Chris was at his aunt's (which means so were we).

Koala Webscape (and intro)

Finally, I get to post!
Yeah, yeah, its me, Koala, adorable little glove puppet koala with big black eyes and a big round nose. Here's my pic: Oh wait, I have two!

And now for Webscape. I was Googling "kids games" and I found this neat site, www.funbrain.com. It has loads of good games in the arcade and some comics too. I enjoy the "Just for Fun Arcade" involving a series of difficult (or easy) games such as Mighty Guy, Water Bug and Penguin Drop.

That's all for now, bye!

Week Summary by Edward

Hello all! It's Edward today. Each of us will be doing a sort of column in our blog posts. Leo (as you know) is doing recipes, Sarge is the food critic, Koala is our website reviewer, Bob posts the latest news and I sum up the week.

Well, as you know, this week we got the blog. Also this week, Chris had his drama lesson on Saturday, Leo served up Veg in the Hole, and THE HOLIDAYS BEGAN! WOOHOO!

Well, anyway, I am downstairs and so is everyone else! I'll just let them say hello.

Sarge says: Hi! I can't wait to become a gourmet and be able to sample delicious delights at fancy restaurants.

Koala says: FINALLY I get to say something on the blog! I hope soon I'll be able to surf the Web looking for cool sites to review!

Bob says: Since I cover latest news, I'll have to get on here as soon as any news happens. Latest newsfeed, straight from the bird's mouth! (Hee hee. Feed. Bird's mouth. Get it?)

Leo says: Well, I can't wait to show some of the latest recipes to the viewers! I'm sure they'll be delighted with the delicious taste!

I say: That's the end of today's blog. I'll be posting my photo tomorrow!

L8r,

Edward

Recipe column???

I am thinking of starting a recipe blog where at least one of my two posts every week has a recipe in it. Today's recipe is a delicious treat enjoyed by my friends.

Veg in the Hole
Works a bit like Toad in the Hole but instead of sausages there is vegetables. There's sausages as well, just not in the hole. (We're all sausage addicts. :D)

Requires: yorkshire pudding
veg (carrot, mashed potato, etc.)
gravy (optional, but adds flavour)
sausages

Method: you just stick the veg in the yorkshire pudding (and cook it, of course).
Not forgetting to put sausages on the plate as well and pour with gravy.

Coming soon, more...

That's Leo's Recipes in the Koala + Chums Blog!

Cya later,

Leo
